Intercultural Bilingual Early Childhood Education Center

Voces La Escuelita is an intercultural bilingual early education center where children are encouraged to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. We believe that it is essential that children's home culture is valued, nurtured and respected.

Our preschool center program reflects our commitment to the child’s growing physical, cognitive, social-emotional and linguistic needs while supporting their self and cultural identities for the whole child's development. We work with families to help them better navigate the educational system while continuing to appreciate and nurture the cultural identities of our families.

Our curriculum is through Highscope. Assessment through Cor. Social Emotional screeners are ASQ-SE, ASQ. Our overall Center Assessment is through PQA.

Need Free PreK for your 4-year-old?

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s free PreK program for eligible four-year-olds. Ranked #1 in the U.S., it’s a safe place where children learn how to get along with others, share, take turns, and make friends. Math, reading, and thinking skills are taught every day through fun, hands-on activities. GSRP will help make sure your child is ready for kindergarten and beyond.To fill out an application for GSRP. Click on the flyer, provide an email address, and fill out the required information. When you select which preschool (3-5), you would like to attend, please type in, “VOCES”.
